Jekabpils the Latvian city of south-east, on both banks of the Daugava. The current area up the 1962nd year, bringing the left bank of the Daugava Jēkabpils Krustpils the right bank. Jekabpils is the eighth largest Latvian city 143 km away from Riga.
Jēkabpils is a city in Selonia, Latvia roughly halfway between Riga and Daugavpils. The Daugava River runs through the town, and the ancient valley, branches, and islands of the river are considered picturesque. The town was home to an air base during Soviet rule.
