I stayed here for 6 to 7 weeks this Sep/Oct 2017 and I think its a really great place to live or stay whilst in central/west London. Its not cheap but then neither is London and this area is one of the smartest parts of the city. Its that perfect mix of being in London but not too central.
The rooms themselves are nice, I felt very much at home in Roland House. Some rooms are undergoing refurbishment so not all the rooms will be to the same spec.
Then there's the spa and gym which although small (gym) actually has everything one needs. I spent lots of time in that big Jacuzzi and in the steam room.
~Last but defiantly not least are the staff and manager (Amy) of the building. My personal experience was 100% positive and they could not have been kinder or more helpful. I will stay there again and I'd willingly recommend Roland House to anyone that wants to Iive in that part of London (and is not on a tight budget).

Shittiest place I've been to, don't believe the pictures they've posted on the website. They've got rusting tea kettles, crappy rooms that are extremely small. I had booked this place for a month and the moment I walked in, the rooms are similar to that of 2 star hotels. Instead of staying there for a month I stayed there for a night and left. I highly discourage you from going to this place.

In 2003 I stayed at Roland House for business reasons for 6 months in a serviced studio apartments. It was soem years ago, but I can only give a positive rate to the place, service and location. I agree with RJB regarding the noisy place and old windows. But still worth it. I had a great time there and I would recommend it anytime.

This place is simply awful. The owners are very rude and unpleasing
the tiny gym, the constantly "out of order" jacuzzi and sauna are not even worth to see. The price is ridiculously high. Rooms furniture are dirty and completely covered of horrible stains. Don't ever rent there!
