Vilkmuižas mountain, lake views. Who can tell whether the lake on behalf of a hill or mountain lake named. As known to the eastern side of the lake has been in the middle of the 19th century baronial Fircks (Baron von Fircks) Vilkmuiža family-owned, but the opposite side of the Talsi Crown Estate.
Lake views are just 1 km long, 200 m wide, 3-5m deep, this is a significant Cours keeper of antiquities, archaeologist known far beyond the Latvian. The lake has a peculiar ancient Cours cremation burial place of the 11th - 14th century. The eastern side of the lake remained in place for the cult of dead burn. The pink with the dead were burned weapons, tools, jewelry, but the fire remains immersed in the lake.
