Ok, the coffee is actually quite nice and they do cater to foreigners in that staff speak half decent English. Yes, the prices are extortionate especially when compared to other coffee shops in the area. Look, the decor is odd and not in the odd-but-good type of way but the odd-but-comfy kind of a way. Listen, the music ain't great and doesn't match the vibe; sure, it's played off YouTube playlists and cuts out everytime the wifi goes down but that's bearable. Still a nice place to go if you have money to throw and your own set of headphones.

Vegetarian food is refreshing. Cozy place just to enjoy and relax for a moment, good tea and coffee (served also with oat milk). One of the must places to visit in Riga.

I hoped to have a nice cup of coffee as I am quite a coffee connesieur but I was quite disappointed as the coffe with oat milk was €4.60 and it tasted sour and not very creamy as there was no soya milk which is a better option to make non dairy latte nice and creamy. In U.K. you can get the best coffee in the world at Small Batch cafe for just £3. I would say MIIT was a rip off.
The only good thing is the coffee looked nice and that's about all.

Great coffee place and worth a visit for a spot of lunch to recharge your batteries as you walk around the city exploring. I agree with other reviews: it's a shame the menus are only in Latvian (English please!), but the staff are very forthcoming and helpful, so no loss of stars in my opinion. Shame they don't sell the books they have on the shelves - we found a really fascinating one!

Awesome place, various menu options and really tasty food and coffee. The drawback I've noticed is that the written menu (breakfast in my case) was only in Latvian, English(at least!) and Russian versions would be great to have. The menu had some interesting non-standard breakfast options (no plain sandwiches, English style breakfast etc.) - great to make note of those and then make similar stuff at home. Good wifi! Overall I would highly recommend this place :) the person who served me was super polite and respectful. A not-so-hidden gem in Riga!
