On the table a guide mentions the restaurant as one of Belgium's favorites. Guide Alliance lists more than a hundred restaurants in the area and to tell you the truth I don't know why Patrick Devos has a page or two. An old house? Beautiful cutlery? But the food was way below fine dining standards. Excuse my harshness but tonight's experience was very disappointing.

Een hartelijke ontvangst. Meteen de vraag gekregen of we buiten wouden aperitieven op de rustige patio midden in hartje Brugge. Nog voor we een aperitief hadden besteld reeds een amuse, hierna volgden nog een aantal smakelijke amuses.
3-gangen menu genomen met aangepaste wijnen. Allemaal uitstekend gecombineerd. Over het algemeen zeer lekker gegeten in een prachtig kader.

I liked that you could access some part of the menu thanks to a vivabox, but at the same time it might be symptomatic ? Everything was good to great, although nothing was perfect either (pieces of crab carapace in the mix, entrance a bit too salty, main all right, very strong in taste pieces in the dessert, ...). So an overall good evening and food, but something is missing for more than 100€/person

Went for nye dinner, so slightly unfair critique. Found it stuffy and overpriced. Food was generally quite good though.
